How to Ravish a Rake by Vicky Dreiling

How to Ravish a Rake
Amy Hardwick has been classified as a wallflower and this season is her last so she is determined to change her status. After wearing one of the gowns she designed to a ball she becomes the fashion darling of the ton. Will enjoys annoying Amy and after incurring a large debt he starts to think about marrying her. When they accidentally get locked in a wine cellar and are forced to marry it seemed like the perfect solution. Can they have a wonderful marriage if they are both deceiving the other?

This book was very good and fun to read. I couldn't wait to reach the end and find out how everything worked out. This book seems to be one in a series of novels and I hope to find the other books in the series. Although this book is an adult romance novel it didn't have a lot of crude language or descriptions. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romance novels and true love stories.

I received a complimentary digital copy of this book for review from NetGalley.

  1. Thank you so much for the wonderful review of HOW TO RAVISH A RAKE. My books are classified as trilogies rather than series, although fans named it the "How To" series. The first book is HOW TO MARRY A DUKE, a fun spoof on the Bachelor in Regency England. Book 2 is HOW TO SEDUCE A SCOUNDREL, another spoof, this time on the how to land a man book THE RULES, only set in Regency England.

I'm very excited because HOW TO MARRY A DUKE and HOW TO SEDUCE A SCOUNDREL are finalists in RWA's RITA awards. The winners will be announced at the RWA conference in Anaheim this summer.

Thank you again for your positive review. I really appreciate it!
