Eragon by Christopher Paolini



A war that destroyed the dragons leaving three eggs and one known dragon left. A young boy named Eragon by chance, happens upon a dragon egg in the forest and when the egg hatches for him he desperately starts seeking answers. But when his family and home get destroyed he knows he must leave in search of people who can help him and give him some answers.

This book is an easy read and is a magical tale expertly woven. It is easy to read and reread this first book in the Inheritance cycle. Full of action, magic, and a quest to end the evil ruler it has everything a fantasy reader wants. There is a movie about the book but if you want the full experience of this magical world pick up the book and lose yourself among the pages.
